Custody and parenting time litigation are cases where there is a dispute regarding the parties’ minor children, how they are raised, how much time they spend with each parent, and the like. Sometimes these cases involve child abuse, domestic violence, substance and alcohol use, mental health issues, complex work schedules and demands, and other parenting issues.
Leigha has four children – she understands firsthand the importance of a clear, effective parenting plan that is in the children’s best interests. Leigha has developed hundreds of parenting plans, some more complex and involved than others. She has experience in dealing with child abuse, child neglect, substance use and mental health issues. Prior to attending law school, Leigha worked as a CPS caseworker and has insider information on how they operate and investigate child abuse and neglect. She has strong relationships with therapists in the community and other child custody experts. Leigha has creative ways of solving problems while putting the kids first.
